FAQ About our Modern Wall Prints

Are Modern Wallz prints considered giclées and what is a giclée?
Yes, our fine art prints are giclée prints. Giclée is a term used for high quality, archival quality fine art prints on canvas or fine art paper. The term giclée is often used to differentiate from an archival print, made with carbon based pigments, from that of a lower quality print that may not last the trials of time as well.

What sizes and prices do you offer?
We offer three sizes: 16" x 24" ($195.00), 20" x 30" ($275.00) and 28" x 42" ($375.00). Our largest print size is almost 4 feet wide. Measure your wall space to make sure you have enough room for these large prints.

What are the shipping costs?
We offer a flat rate of $15 via FedEx Ground.

How long until I receive my order?
Time will vary depending on how many orders we currently have. We print each piece as we get an order, to keep our warehousing costs down. It usually takes 2-4 business days to print your order, then FedEx Ground travel time. We ship out of California. Most orders will arrive within 14 business days and often sooner.

What is the depth of the canvas?
All of our canvases are gallery wrapped (the images is printed on the sides also) with 1 1/2" deep sides. This is a very contemporary, modern look and it doesn't require framing.

How long will the print last?
With the combination of fine art quality canvas, printing inks and varnish, the prints are rated to resist fading for well over 100 years.

Why do the colors look different on my print vs my monitor?
If you looked at your image on 100 monitors, you would see 100 different variations in color. Every monitor renders color differently. Expect your print to slightly vary from the colors on your monitor. However, unless you have something really wrong with your monitor, it should be close. All of our images are proofed by our artist to get the very best print we can.

What if I'm not happy with my print?
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for every print sold. If you are not 100% happy with your print, send it back to us within 15 days of receiving it and we will refund your purchase. We're sorry however, we cannot reimburse you for shipping costs, when shipping the print back to us.

What type of canvas do you use?
We use high quality Chromata White Inkjet Canvas that is optimal for printing photographs and fine arts works. The canvas itself is a matte canvas, however, we add a gloss once the canvas is printed.

Do you charge sales tax?
We charge sales tax for California residents only.

Do you print on the sides of the canvas?
Yes, we print on the sides for a modern and contemporary look, so you can hang the canvas right out of the box.
